This photo is what makes our CrossFit the best in Atlanta...the teams and friendships that keep developing every week.  What a great photo after another great Saturday team WOD!  We are missing a few of our Warriors in the photo, but great job!

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS:

Alright guys...we forgot about our Seniors crowd and we love them so much we are going to mix things up a little.  So we will go out after the 6PM WOD for dinner and then those of you who need to go to bed can go, and everyone else we will go out.  Are there any requests for the restaurant?  Let us know!

ATLANTA BRAVES:

Is anyone interested and able to go to Opening Day at the Braves.  The game is @ 4:15 Monday April 5.  We can get a group rate and go. We just need to know who is interested so we can start getting tickets.  There is really nothing quite like a Opening Day at the Ballpark!

FILTHY FIFTY:

Today is the "Filthy Fifty"...this WOD is designed to break you down so you better bring your "A' game!  It's going to be a great day!

3. So I was not able to get near a computer yesterday but love and agree with how excited everyone is about team WODs and Regionals!!!

Lunch WOD outside was amazing and excited about more of those!!!

Bruce is a beast, he decided to try a muscle up after the WOD and knocked out 5 in a row.

Your plans to go out on Friday sound awesome AFTER a few changes;-). Fado happens to be right next to my bar (where I will be working Friday night) so I think you guys should move the location. ESPECIALLY since I can "win" you a party where you get free food and only have to pay for drinks. Also, I will miss the team WOD on Saturday due to a weightlifting meet so I will have to go through withdrawals if you don't come to my bar :-(

8. Ooooooooeeeeeeeeee! Been SO long since I've done F-50. I'll be in at 6pm for this little whuppin'. Can't wait! And every time I think about Saturday's wod, I start to smile. How can such brutality be so much fun?!?!

10. PS. If anyone is going to hang out with Laura make her sign a waiver or take out a life insurance policy on her...today she dropped a kettlebell on her toe and lost a toenail...I mean come on...I can't make this up.

11. yeah, laura, box jumps are in the past, now you've thrown a kettlebell on your foot. next time, be worried about something else. i'd hate to see what you could do with a jumprope.

12. YES!!!!!! I wasn't sure what I was gonna do without some of you guys for a whole week. Just to clarify in case somebody misinterprets what Toby said, The food will be completely free but drinks won't sorry :)

Laura, do I need to start coming to your class with all of my stitches and other medical equipment?

15. Carefull Danielle, It's a trap. Marie will say it is ok to get there at 5:15 but then she will make yo do burpees before you even start the Fifty.

17. I think that for the safety of everyone at the gym, its best to keep a 3 to 5 foot buffer zone around me at all time. For my part I am going to start wearing steel toe boots, a bike helmet and a suit made of bubble wrap.

Marie, I don't think I'll be making it for running tonight.

So, my first filthy fifty was way more filthy than I expected. KTE and burpees officially SUCK! Not setting any speed records today. Crap.

21. Kara, you are always welcome to join. I just can't commit to opening the gym at 5 every Tuesday and Thursday because I can't always make it on time. As well as I like having the couple of days during the week at 5 to be able to work out.

22. Oh, and I got 28:36. As always, the double unders and burpees got me. Not a PR (my PR is in the 26 min) but I am happy because I am getting back into my old self.

23. So with my first "Filthy Fifty", I went all out in the beginning all the way through the push presses. Unfortunately, this made me feel like my lunch was getting ready to come back up and say "Hey! Remember me?!?".

I was able to get 30:08 Rx'd but I would have definitely had it under 30 min if it weren't for those meddling double-unders!! Oh well, there's always the next time.

Great job to everyone who rocked out the "Filthy Fifty" today! You are badasses in my book!

24. Watching Marie and Danielle attack Filthy was truly inspiring!Love sweaty girls working hard! Danielle completed the 50 DU's in one shot. It was amazing! as for me, I finished it, RX ish - Can't do DU's so had to do 200 singles.
